The actual rooms — photographed empty, on an ordinary day, with nothing moved for the camera.
Most people decide about a salon before they reach it, from a website that shows them everything except the place itself. These are the rooms as they are: where you wait, where the colour is mixed, where the wash chair reclines, and how much space there actually is between one chair and the next. Every frame is empty of people — partly because a room is easier to judge that way, and partly because a guest sitting in our chair did not come here to appear on a website.
